The founder of l s r, Lindel Reid, has worked as the Principal and Managing Principal for structural engineering companies in the, UK, and UAE, such as Mott McDonald, Arup, in the UK; BGE Consulting Engineers and DeSimone Consulting Engineers in the UAE, where at DeSimone he set up operations in Dubai and London.
As controller of operations clients often sort his advice, which came in the form of project reviews.
These reviews often demanded alternative solutions that more closely aligned with the client’s aspirations. The goal is always to strive for design solutions that are feasible and economical to build.
This growth in demand for his services as a consultant led Lindel to form l s r, a dynamic, agile design studio located in the UAE.
With over 30 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer in the United Kingdom and United Emirates, Lindel has forged an international career in Structural and Architectural Engineering, with technical leadership and business development expertise in the UK and the Middle East.
Lindel has amassed extensive technical experience across all aspects of engineering, having worked on a diverse portfolio of projects, including:
